The F-TWG will focus on coordination, communication, and technical and scientific research to help inform and improve the interaction between recreational and commercial fishing communities and offshore wind energy development. These topics are generally identified by the fishing community, regulators, and offshore wind energy developers as a crucial need.25px

The linked publications below are guidelines and compilations of potential best management practices (BMPs) regarding ways to reduce potential risks to fish and fishery resources during development of offshore wind energy. These include regulatory guidance and BMP documents, reports on lessons learned from existing offshore wind energy projects, and recommendations from planning workshops and stakeholder engagement meetings.
